Uprated transmission ?

Hi,

I've got the build sheet for my 110 from Solihull, and there's a couple of interesting notes on it:

'Uprated transmission'
'Gearbox Ratio Group No.2'

I know that it's a XD or HD (heavy duty) version, as I have rear discs, helper springs on the rear, and (apparently) a heavy duty clutch............but what's the Gearbox Ratio No2 all about - is it a lower-than-normal ratio main box ?
