We had a couple pf inches this morning at 6am , half had gone by lunch but loads has come down since...

Just got back from the top  of the Llanberis pass loads of snow up there (took the kids sledging ) ,, also watched as a lad in a 206 put his brakes on comming down the pass and bounced off the dry stone walls ... Stopped to help him remove the plastic inner arch and bend the body back out so he could continue on his way

RWD LSP, not good. I have just got a spanking new beat car, Focus and it was good to day in all the snow and muddy fields chasing hare coursers. Never seen such mud on a new car with less than 1000 miles on the clock!

hmmm does this mean we're gonna be picking it up soon and taking it to Brarrowby ??? lol

He he he probably Jon!

To be fair we had a lucky escape today, on our way to a shout, not going fast just no traction at all!

My mate was driving gave me a fright!

Typical.  We actually get the best snow we've had round here in years (about an inch at the most) and the RR's undriveable again - it's eating batteries like they're going out of fashion and I can't trust it to start.  Been to work today in the Mondeo and the old girl didn't miss a beat, even though it was the first car in over 40 years that scared my dad in the snow :|

From what I've heard, it will all have gone by Wednesday when I'm off work, so I won't even be able to go out and throw snowballs for the dog :'(   I did that a couple of years ago and she managed to find them

A light covering today.

So as it was my day off i went out to find some nice snow on Dartmoor. And with some cunning managed to find a nice carpark and not a grockle in sight.  :D

On the lane near my house.

Out on the moor. The prize of a snowball if you can guess where i was.

And we had a bit more whilst i was out too.  :)

Had about 3" of snow when I left work last night and there was only 4" when I got in this morning. It snowed some more about lunch time and the total was about 6" in all. The wind picked up and it started to drift. Quiet really.

I had to push through this one. I jumped out afterwards and stood in the wheel rut and the snow was nearly by my trouser pocket.

All gone now, mores the pity :( The stuff doesn't seem to want to stay around like it used to. I don't know what is wrong with this country. A couple of inches of snow and its classed as a disaster. Ridiculous!
Lets hope the forecast for more at the end of the week is correct.

I have been driving through snow several inches deep and some drifts over 2 feet deep locally for a few days. Tomorrow I have to drive down to somewhere near Gilford for a 2 week job.

I'm watching TV and it looks like I should be worried as there could be a couple of inches   The Country has come to a halt again

I shall be starting at 5.00am with a caravan in tow.

We got another couple of inches overnight -yay, guess who didn't have to go to work today anyway :afro:

The RR actually STARTED, having been on the charger for most of yesterday, so HWTHSBO took her down the motorway and back along the lanes to have a play.  Guess who was sat at home with the kids (baby and dog)

At least I got to chuck a couple of snowballs for the dog this morning.  Baby's too young to go out and build snowmen and the dog had weed in the snow anyway.

Some of the kids where I work have drawn a 50ft phallus in the snow in the quadrangle.  Original or what.
