Hi all i hope noone do what i done today was jacked my land rover up to change front spring and swivel ball and took the wheel off and went to put a stand in place and it fell off the jack knocked me out for a few seconds and had a head ache for a few hours but my back is still killing me one lesson i learnt is to put the stands in before removing road wheels it has been the first time of have a car fall off a jack in 25 yrs of working on my own car  :) :)

A long time ago I received a complaint from a trolley jack purchaser. 

He said that after a few hours it crept down and he had to pump it back up to carry on working on the car.

After explaining what he was doing wrong and the number of serious injuries caused he did admit to being a fireman who had extracted bodies from under cars himself! :doh:

Very lucky.  I religiously put a the wheel under the car whenever I take one off.  If the worst happens it would be an injury only.
