keeps dropping the revs and cutting out

right then. i went to a p&p on sunday in a 200tdi. i got going through some deep muddy puddles and it went through em pretty easy. it wasnt deep enough to go in the air intake but i did hit pretty fast an it may of gone into it then.

anyway, any one got any ideas why its doing what its doing. another thing its doing is when the revs drop and i rev it up the revs take a long time to build up, its as if im not even revving it up. :help: :help: :help:

Sounds like a fuel filter blockage to me.

could b a bent or crushed pipe restricting fuel,if u off road. it happened 2 me.

Hi i had the same thing and i changed the fuel filter the water trap the lift pump the
injection pump and all it was was muck in the tank at the fuel pickup pipe ok on
tick over but would cut out when reved up

Ive had the same symptoms before but mine ended up been perished fuel pipes on top of the fuel tank, it was sucking air in .maybe you have dislodged your fuel line somewhere
