Not to my knowledge it isn't. There are a few slipways in the area were you can drive onto the beach to launch your boat from a trailer but that is it. Definately not allowed to go for a jolly between Scratby and Great Yarmouth (as I understand they were doing). You used to be able to get permits to park on the beach for fishing and such but I don't think they are issued anymore or at least the local council have never replied to my emails or letters on the subject :evil:
Somehow I think if it was legal it would look like the wacky races out there :-k

There are actually very few beaches where it is legal to drive a car, other than to launch a boat. Often that now needs a permit.
I can only think of 2 in Wales now, Newport and Black Rock, plus there is an RoW along another one in Pembrokeshire. Pendine has been closed.
Looking at the map of that area there aren't even any RoW's on to the beach.
