swivel grease
George the Disco:
Ok, So the swivels are done. Now just how are you supposed to put the grease in? After warming the grease up and tiping the bottles into the fil hole I can only manage to get about 1 teaspoon worth in before the whole lot starts to flood back out again; and thats with the wheels facing outwards.
Any ideas; its going for an MOT at 9.30am so I need to know quick!
Cheers
Chris

Get the steering right over on the steering lock, then the grease should go in. Turn the wheels to the opposite lock and you can do the other side.
Hope this helps.

If your filling the right hub, put it on a full right lock...
If your filling the left hub, put it on a full left lock...

Thought the fill holes were on top, the side one (half-way up are level plugs)
it's just that they are easier to access.
muddyweb:
No, the fillers are on the side... if they were level plugs, you'd be putting a whole heap of grease in there.
Not sure what holes you are thinking about on the top of the swivels ?
