Oil Cooler Leak: Is it the Cooler or the pipe which is leaking?
It starts where the arrow is, then dribbles and gets blown everywhere.
Wher is the best place to get bits from - It's not something I've ever bought before. Typical cost?
beast5680:
well i would have said the bit you have arrowed should be an integral part of the cooler and has pulled out so prob a cooler required

Yep that looks like an Auto gearbox cooler and if its leaking from that point its knackered, been there done that what a nightmare it turned out to be.
Cost new £120 + VAT for the oil cooler used I paid £45.
You will you will be lucky to get the pies undone from the unions that screw in the bottom of the cooler (these are double male unions the are also reducers) .
My advice would be disconnect the lot from the vehicle even then you have to drop the exhaust front pipe off. You should be able to turn the whole pipe to unscrew the unions out of the bottom of the cooler to clamp them in a vice to try and remove the hoses from the unions.

The other side looks the same (but without the leak) but I agree that it's probably the cooler.
