defender 200tdi

i,m going to be putting a disco 200tdi in my 90 but i have read some were that the 2.5td front cover is ther same as the defender 200tdi ????

if it is could i put my td front panel on my disco engine so when i come to replace the cambelt i can just buy the defender 200tdi one ???

plz any information would be great many thanks in advance :-k

Hi Mate,

I put a 200tdi disco block in replacement for my defender 200tdi unit when I hydrolocked it, the blocks are the same apart for a couple of stud placements on the back to mount the gearbox, it was a straight swap for me, I don't know if the TD is any different.
