Pricing help required - Newbie :)

stuntman:
Hello everyone,

Well in my haste I've bought 2 series 3's. Both without MOT and needing some work, I'm not wanting to be stupid with the prices hat I will ask for them, but can someone help me put a ball park figure together so I don't look stupid with my pricing. I'm trying to save as many old landies from farms, whilst using the money made to save for my first mortgage :)

1st, a red pick up in reasonable condtion, 2.25 petrol, in bright red (fairly recent paint job), it will have 12 months test, I belive it's a 74, good chassis with new rear half chasis, plus FWH.
Paint condition is quit good, it will recieve a full service a set of all Terrains, new lights and lenses, new shocks and bushes where needed.

2nd, is again a 74, solid chassis, van in blue, with rebuilt low mileage diesel engine and fairly overdrive and FWH, dog gaurd. It is light blue, with faded paintwork and a few dents, I won't be restoring the paint as I like the look of it and it seems to add to the character, again it will have new tyres, shocks, bushes, lights. A full service and a MOT.

Thanks for any responses in advance

Andi

Looking on recent ebay sales, I reckon on a bad day you'd be lucky to get as much as £500, on a good day, if it's exactly what someone wants you may get up to £1000.......

Lucy1978:
my 2.25 lwb 1975 with 12months mot got up to a grand total of £300 on ebay (didn't make the reserve) when I tried and I've had no sniffs at it's current price of £500 either.

When I bought my swb series 3 I paid £500 for it with 11 months MOT.

stuntman:
Thanks Chris.

I may end up breaking them then sadly

Bizarrely, you will most probably make far more money that way!
