UPDATE on my disco i have just taken the head off and have found no damage to the head gasket so do i just put a new head gasket on and see if that solves my trouble or should i get the head skimmed and pressure tested .oh and i was told i should rebuild the bottom endif not i may end up burning oil is this true any advice at this piont will be great

Range Rover Blues:
The oil seperators are useless, I've rerouted the breather to a catch tank and even then I'm getting oil in the blow by, which BTW is inevitable in any engine though of course it gets worse as they wear.
