265/75 R16 Tyres
« on: January 09, 2009, 09:19:37 »
Looking for a set of mud tyres soon for a Landcruiser Colarado LWB (1997), but the range seems to be very limited (and more expensive), in the standard 265/70 R16 tyre size. Noticed that a lot of people sell 265/75 R16 for a lot less money. I know people do fit these tyres on standard vehicles (and standard 16x7 alloys), but Ive also heard that they can rub on full lock?   :-k

Thanks Paul. Have already seen the posts on there (as well as a few other US sites). Some people say there Ok, other say it rubs on full lock or reversing, others say you need a suspension lift.  I think it will be a case of try them and see.

Just wanted a few views from people who run them on their trucks.

I know people who run 255/85/16s on them and they do rub on the foot wells and a little on full lock, thats with a +2" lift.
