Disco leaning
JimP:
My Disco has a noticable lean to the drivers side, is this likely to be the springs??
The springs ont eh drivers side seem far more copressed than those on the passenger side, if I get some HD lift springs will this solve teh problem? or is something else that is causing the lena?
Thanks
Jim
clbarclay:
It may be the springs are past there best or it may just be that the weight distrobution in the vehicle is wrong.
What is the history of the springs?
Some aftermarket springs have a reuptation of variable quality which can the springs to sag more noticably over time, So HD springs may remove the lean and then a year or so latter its could be leaning again.
JimP:
The springs were on it when I bought it but I think they are pretty cheap ones tbh!
I'll invest in some quality ones i think!
mobi:
most discos lean to the right, even with hd springs.

Its amazing how much my springs sagged they were standard fitted by land rover I assume, fitted some new ones and my god what a difference,no more leaning round corners no more rattling and bouncing I used the +2 HD springs from britpart and fitted them today. Its not until you remove the old ones that you find out how bad things were,I thought that they had sent me +4 springs when i measured them side by side
