rubber doughnut

(1/2) > >>

bandanna phil:
does anyone know if it is possible to replace rubber prop doughnut with a steel or alloy 1   :?:.dont really want to put on 200 prop and flange

Disco-Ron:
There wouldn't be much flex in alloy or steel would there......... the only way to do away with it is to fit a 200 prop...... if you can find a 24 spline front diff, that would negate the neeed to change the flange on the old diff though... which is a right pain!!

bandanna phil:
scrap that idea then.was hoping to get a metal 1 made up  with rubber bushes around the bolt holes

Range Rover Blues:
Often the reason replacement doughnuts fail is that the supporting bush inside the propshaft is overlooked.  It is this small buch that keeps things centralised.
