lights again

my tail lights are not working but the brake lights are. ive checked the bulbs and fuses but both are fine.... any ideas please??  :'(

the screw that holds the light to the body is the earth for the lights thats the exact problem i had when i rebuilt mine. if not then take off the internal cover and check any earth wires behind there that are fixed to the body
