hello all

I am having problems with my 2.7 deisle motor, i have changed the fuel filter, air filter & checked there is nothing obstructing the air intake , exhaust etc..


It simply will not rev over 2000 revs, at a push 2500 revs. :'(
It has only 90k miles with FSH & has been serviced regulary.

Any ideas guys ??

What happens when it gets to the 2000 revs?
Does it stop dead on it, as if itis being limited?
Or does it cough and splutter?

Terranosaurus:
Remove the banjo joint on the fuel pipe into the fuel pump, you will most likely find a small filter inside. Clean the filter and replace you'll probably find this cures it. Common problem on T2's, but not very well known about by dealers etc as its not in the Nissan manaul.

its like its on a limiter ,it stay just there..no coughing or spluttering, but loads of white smoke !!!
was perfik, before , it seems to have just occured .......just all of a sudden !! :-o

I shall look for the inline filter, on the banjo & clean that out also.. 8-[
