Headlights stuck on dip beam.
Devon-Rover:
Exactly as above.
I have a wee problem went to fill up with gas and as i swung onto the forecourt and it was then i noticed that even when i switched them off they remained on. Even with the ignition off the lights remain on.
Main beam works as per normal.
Side lights as per normal.
Tried using the indicators and flash while using the switch to turn them off but that hasn't worked.
Any ideas? I have pulled the fuse at the moment. Are they on a relay? if so could it be stuck?
Thank you in advance. I'm suppose to be using the Disco on boxing day for a green laning trip.
J.D.:
Could be the indicator stalk and switch which is at fault if it is a 200Tdi. Its a fairly common problem, either get a second hand one off another Disco, Metro or Maestro van or a new one for about £26.
I had to replace mine after the headlight runner switch on the stalk failed.
Devon-Rover:
Yes it's a '93 200 shape one.
Range Rover Blues:
Replace the stalk then fit a set of relays to protect the new one.
