Help!!!! Hazard lights come on whilst driving

Driving along today in my 1998 3.9 efi disco then the hazard lights came on (all indicators but only the middle light in the dash not the arrow lights.) It came on for about 2mins then went off again. I could hear a relay clicking under the dash but wasn't the hazard relay or the indicator so i am king of stumped now any ideas ???

Apparently there is a tilt switch in the alarm control box somewhere.... mine sometimes start flashin in the middle of a trial section... and everyone starts pointing etc, mine stop when i turn the engine off and start it again... you can alledgedly remove the tilt switch quite easily, but then the alarm won;t be so effective.....LOL!!

Range Rover Blues:
Yeap it's quite common for the alarm to activate when you're greenlaning.  I've heardof them imobilising too when they hit a ditch.

nope my m8s does it regualy (cheeses him off in the middle of a very WET ditch)
