Range Rover Blues:
There might be a run on issue 1 then

I got the mag and note the following.
There are only about 4 pages on the tractor. Plus 2 other articles. Writing style is for Children.
The model is "ok" but nothing special, bet you could get a die cast model of ebay for less.
I wouldn't buy a full price one even for the MF135 which I love.
I got this book for Christmas. Massively better value and loads of makes/pictures. More on the fergy in this book than the mag. Nice section on roadless including the Roadless Lhttp://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails-World+Encyclopedia+of+Tractors+and+Farm+Machinery+-9781844764181.htmlandrover

I take it you don't have a model of a Range Rover then? Lot's of people will collect models with or without the real thing. Then, if there are people interested, a magazine will pop up about it too. And what about people who are interested but have no need/space for the real thing?
We have a large scale model Fergie in a glass case in the lounge. And the real thing in the barn. I don't buy magazines about them though. As far as I'm concerned it's a working vehicle that is less likely to depreciate than a modern equivalent. But it is endearing, hence the model.
However, these 'collection' magazines are simply a rip off. Only £1.99....... and £7.99 every other issue. And as Carbore says, the models tend to be a bit basic.
