clutch.

i got them off with my land rover prop shaft tool.
that box is bloody heavey.. and isuzu wins the award for putting 3 bell housing bolts right at the top where you cant get to the f**kers.. other then that it was bloody easy. still got to re-mate the box but it been raining and im not laying in the rain.

iv tryed for 2days to get that f*****g gear box lined up..is there any trick that any of you guys know that will make my life easyer? mind you i do have the front end on wheel ramps.. that isnt helping is.. ill have to try when its flat..

Its not easy is it! How are you supporting the gearbox?

Engine should be slightly up at the front, or if you've taken the box out, front of the box pointing up slightly.
Did you align the clutch and the spigot bearing up correctly? You'll never get the input shaft in if they are out of line.
It should only take about an hour of rocking and swearing to get the shaft to start. If it's not going something's probably out of line.
