Discovery seats...

<< < (2/2)

Bulli:
as boss said you can use spreader plates in the floor you can buy them from rally shops, theyre cheap, the issue is the angle of the harness. To fit them in a disco you need to anchor them roughly in the middle of the rear seats......so you could use harness only when the seats are folded.
they arent much cop when you have rear seat passengers though

nothing to stop you using the normal seat belt then the harness when you need it.....just dont buy crap bucket seats ....they are just that crap...so if the ones you are looking at are from Macro....dont bother....get proper buckets ;)

boss:
i think im right in saying the legeslation for seatbelts are that you have to be able to put them on with one hand for them to be mot passable.
so you have to keep the origional belts in. but your after good belts go to prima motorsport, i have one of there titon harneses and it is very good!

and i second the bucket seat thing. there is no point on buying cheap ones. i would advise against second hand ones aswell as you dont know if they have been in a crash or roll. the seat frames might be cracked/twisted.
