I'll put money that its down to the immobiliser! I had exact same, sometimes no problem, sometimes the AA!! After the 3rd or 4th AA visit he said its down to the immobiliser, get it taken out and you won'y have a problem, so I did, and I haven't!! Never failed me since.

Can't help there i'm afraid me and auto electrics don't mix [-X So I handed at over to an autoelectrician.

Spoke to Stuart last night and understand he may have pointed you in a direction as you say it is not holding charge... As per my PM, try taking a reading between the battery post and the disconnected lead.

If you have a drain, start pulling fuses until you isolate where the drain might be.. once you have the appropriate circuit, then you can go hunting!

If it's the isolator, per other comments, ring Stuart for Alan's number - remember he had all sorts of issues with his after teaching to swim at the Macmillan...
