xbox 360 or ps3

On the subject of ps3's, my lads having one for xmas, so what do i need to get it online do i have to get wireless or can i use another modem type thing, he has a phone socket in his room but the bt modem is miles away downstairs . Will two modems work together or not.

X box 360, £40 a year online subscription and well worth it, you don't have to be gaming expert to play online, saying that Call Of Duty 5 is taking up to much of my time :oops:

Good point, we have wireles at home is it as simple as geting the ps3 to serch for the modem? Or is their more to it

PS3 is Wi Fi, it is built in, providing you have Wi Fi modem in the house it will pick it up, I have ethernet cable to my X box and my lad plays PS3 on the Wi Fi connection in his room at the same time.
Obviously this only matters for online gaming.
