best place to get temp sensor

my missis rrc has now got worse

it just about starts but is overfulling big time
as sugested im gona try the temp sensor

witch one do i need , the one on the termostat is the one for the gauge ?

where is the ecu cold start /temp sensor ?

The location may have changed on later EFI v8s but this is where it is on my 1987 RRC EFI v8

The temp sensor for the ECU is fitted vertrically to the inlet manifold to the left (as viewed from behind the vehicle) of the thermostat and is the rear most of the 2 sensors. If memory serves my right it can be a bit of an awkward job to remove due to other stuff getting in the way.

Range Rover Blues:
IIRC it's the same as the 3.5, identified by having a 2 pin plug on it just like an injector and IIRC the same temp sensor as used in the fuel rail.  You can check the sensor if you have a multimeter and a copy of the Haynes manual.

temp sensor in the fuel rail ?
i now know where the temp sensor is on the manifold

take it either temp sensor could make it over fuel ?

iv a muiltimeter but no haynes , how do u test it ?
