 Havent used one, But have marshalled loads of winch challenges and seem them in action, I have not seen one fail or bend ect, so i guess thats a positive from me :)

I'd go for the x-eng at those prices - it's only a couple of quid more and if it's lighter then it's well worth it. Never heard any complaints about any of their products.

Apparently getting all the stakes out of the ground can be a swine, plus obviously it will take longer to set up and take down than the x-eng type.
