 Yes, Well sort off, I believe they have someone do an hourly check of a snow gauge (probably an infa red device of some form) on the roof of the MET Office.
 If my memory of it is correct they only need to find 2 snow flakes to declare a white chistmas.

Oh yes, I would agree with that! My old Mini had a 1400cc engine and a fly off handbrake. Excellent fun in the snow!

I used to live near the Rolls Royce factory in Glasgow and they had HUGE car parks which were always empty in snowy weather :dance:

I remember doing 70 miles an hour on the ice and not actually moving!!
