As are HIDs if you buy the right ones. That said if they are on BOGOF I'll fit some to the Micra as I can't be bothered fitting the kit to that.

Is anybody else finding that blue tinted lights are useless on cold wet evenings?

Dont know..
the light is really good on dipped main beam, about 100% better than the ones in there before.
