13 wipac lights (small types)
2 britpart fuel gauge senders
2 britpart water pumps
3 britpart brake vaccuum servo's
And a few other bits and bobs
Any other car I'd have been hitting the roof and getting my solicitors involved, but for some reason these manufactures seem to get away with it as we all accept that the parts are crap.

Britpart stuff is garbage, i don't know how they get away with selling it....
try Bearmach or Allmakes, I've had no duff parts from them so far...
The other thing to do is swot up on who made the genuine parts (most answers are on the internet - google is your friend) then you can try and source OEM parts without getting shafted by a main agent.
Range Rover Blues:
Deisel fule lift pump, leaking derv all over the place. Once again a part I fitted "as a precaution", am I just wasting money  now I'll have to put the old one back.
And as for tat parts turning up in Lucas boxes, don't get me started.

Since AP Lockheed was split up, we are finding that many of the Delphi boxed parts are not what we would call original. the 'AP Braking' range from Caparo seem to be more like the originals.
Lucas stuff just seems to be a lottery as to whether you get a quality item or not in the box. It bugs me that you pay Lucas prices and then open the green box to find a plain white box inside it. If you buy the plain white boxed item in the first place it costs a quarter of the price

It's always worth paying an extra few pennies to get your parts from a good reliable source, doesn't always have to be from people that specialise in your vehicle. Thanks to the cheapness of BL, you will find a lot of the sparky side is used on many other vehicles.
