I assume it's a reference to one of the characters in the above film putting the luggage in the wrong end of the Lotus?

Personally I wanted to know how they made it light enough to handle properly on land, but heavy and strong enough to sink with a pressurised compartment in the driving scenes...

I may be wrong on this but as the Esprit is mid engined wasn't there some small space above and behind the engine bay, like the Elise.

You can tell its a lotus as when its under water it starts to leak, a special lotus though as notmally you only need light rain in order to have puddles.

call me mr old fashion here but its a film! made by the same sort thar make a prequel to all the other bond films and use a brand new DB9
