big suspension touching wheel arches

clover:
Yes but I have 11" of travel on my system and fully dislocating cone which is more that the the system you are current running.

As well as 4" of lift on the back and 3" on the to make the vehicle sit level and fully trimmed wheel arches

clbarclay:
Which part of the inner wheel arches are they rubbing on, at the top or against the vertical faces?

If you just extend the bumpstops to the point that the tyres don't rub then you may find it ends up regararly hitting or running the bumpstops while driving which is not ideal. By either stiffening the springs or increasing the lift as well so it rearly hits the bumptops would be better.

I found on my RRC with the size tyres, springs and I was running and the 11" travel setup, I would have needed to extend the bumpstops by 3". This would have left about 1" between the axle and bumpstop when parked on leval ground which is not good. As a interim solution I am running an old set of front dampers on the rear until I sort out some more suitable springs and maby a bit more body lift.

clover:
The vertical faces. For springs i have fairly new heavy duty police ones standard ride height supposedly but they actually give abut an 1" or so of lift.

Disco_Stu:
Have you fitted the Llama raised shock mounts?

As you probably know, the raised mounts allow more upward travel. The only way to stop the rubbing is to push the tyres further out with modulars, fit longer bumpstops (But then whats the point...?) or use smaller tyres, again, not a great option.

I suppose you could fabricate completely new rear arches that can accomodate your tyres but thats a bit extreme for a 32" tyre.

I'd go for modulars mate, and even then you may need spacers unless you get a small + or - offset wheel (Deep dish etc). Disco alloys have a fair size  + offset, it seems a bit ar5e about face but thats how its calculated.

Stu.

Chris C:
I'd also check your bushes....... if there is a fair bit of play you may rub
