big suspension touching wheel arches

Hi

I fitted llama 4x4 dislocating suspension and i am am having a problem.

My 235 85 R16 tyres on standard alloys at colliding with the inner well arches on extreme articulation.

I could go further where they not colliding.

Now the question is what can i do about it?

i though about spacers but the only onces i can find are 30mm!

Chris Putt:
Drop the sock mounts and lower the bump stops slightly?

Jake:
There's a few options to solve your problem.
Wheels spacers or wheels with a large offset, fit bigger bump stops to prevent the axle coming up to much or fit smaller than you current 31" tyres
I have 33" tyres on my Disco with a 2" lift and i dont get any rubbing.

I think these are meant to used with standard bump stops

Trouble is if i get 30mm bump stops then i guess i will have to watch then fouling the wings and they will need will need wheel arch extensions?

They are fitted with special shock mounts.

Jake:
Weird...
I used to run 235/85/16's on factory alloys with a 2" Scorpion lift and never had a problem with them rubbing, not even the radius arms.

I'm now running 33" Simex with Flexi arches and Old Man Emu suspension and still having no issues with rubbing, apart from on full lock they rub the radius arms.

It sounds like somethings not right with your suspension set up. Is every thing looking normal/done up tight/the right way up?
