200tdi alarm removal
Geoff30:
Hi all I have got a gremlin in my alarm that sits dormant for days then wakes me up in the middle of the night.
Can I remove the alarm and still keep my remote central locking? Also how do I bypass the immobiliser???
Range Rover Blues:
I don't think so, I think you need a new unit.
crazymac:
I don't know about "remote" central locking but the central locking on the key still works without!
When I bought mine the alarm/immobiliser wasn't working and there was no remote locking (there may have been but I had no fob with the car!!) but there was central locking. I did fit an immobiliser but had so much hassle with it I ripped it back out!
Still got central locking, no immobiliser!
Disco-andy:
i took one of the wires off the horn for my alarm, that seemed to work, alarm went of but no noise.

Get in touch with Remote Key Limited @ Sutton Coldfield. The guy there is very helpful.
