what is it with red cars?

swmbo has given me a spec :roll: must be 4 door 1.4 or under for tax reasons and high mpg not white not red [-X vauxhall corsa or ford fiesta budget around the £800 or less mark :-k
definatly cant be a renault or a nissan :roll: she dont like them although a saxo or a 106 would do

I have a red rover 620i and it has done 230k and very reliable, a heck of alot better than the disco is for every day driving and motorways and had the rovver for over 9 years now.
The landys I have had and all been green and all been unreliable. That could just be due to the fact they are land rovers!! :lol:

Crikey, that's pretty specific. I'd agree FIesta, not a fan of Coarser but they are easy to own. Only thing, the 2 extra doors were £500 extra, not sure how many you'll find for that budget but you should be looking at a smiley fiesta, there are plenty about and round here they are all silver and blue.

red cars are apparently less likely to be involved in accidents as they are more visible, whereas green cars are more likely to be involved in prangs as they blend in more. That or they are the colour of the 'Little People' who see the use of their colour as an insult, and therefore 'hex' all green car owners. 8-[
