The problem is, I cant find a steel stcokholders around mine in Norfolk (PE33), otherwise thats what I'd do.  I'd much rather give a local the money than an interweb site.

If you cant find a stockholder try a small fabrication workshop, they can tag what you need on their order. They will put a few beers on the price (I would ;) ) but should be cheaper than those prices  ;)

Ah, I was searching for steel stockholders as a description, not the name, and it was only bringing up ASD,
and they said they only manufacture and couldnt supply me with steel??

Great, will do!  At the mo im after 1" tube with 18swg wall, after about 4 off 6 metre lengths!  How much will that be?

The nearest one over hear is Standley Steel in Wymondham. A bit far over for you maybe.
