Outside Temperature

Does anybody know if it's possible to recalibrate the outside temperature sensor? It seems to be reading about 6 low all the time - if I changed the sensor would that sort it?

waveydavey:
It's not just academic, the climate control needs it and I think that the engine management uses the same input.
