boss:
got my girlfriends ipod plugged in too, which isnt too bad there is some good music on there but some times you will be listening to pearljam andd the fray come one afterwards! or the feeling.....words cannot discribe how much i hate those bands!
how do you take a fiscous fan off? and maby a stuped question but does an intercooler need a fan????
Disco-andy:
the fan is left hand tread.
Disco_Stu:
You need a viscous fan spanner - like a normal one but cranked so that it can slot in behind the viscous unit and access the nut.
Does an intercooler need a fan? - No. Would it benefit from a fan at slow speed where cooling due to airflow is minimal? - Yes, at least I think it would. That said, I don't run one and haven't noticed a drop in performance. Then again, I gauge performance on the scale of crap, crapper, crappest. I'm currently crapper....
Stu.
boss:
could i not use a conventional spanner? if the cooler doesnt need a fan then it wont get one :lol:need to make as much room at the front as possible!
