Little-Green-Machine:
alli sheet, chequer plate heaven?
Disco Matt:
Use the plastic - lighter, won't need painting, and more importantly you already have it so it's not going to take money away from the rest of the build. I'd also rather be surrounded by plastic than metal in cold weather!

About to start another build o mine
martyn:
Hi Glad you sent me this thread those portal axles are awsome they make the standard one look very puny.
This is one hell off a build,
I had one hell of an accident 3 yrs ago and havnt been able to work. my 4x4 i had to sell as i couldnt drive for 2/12 yrs.
Its been doing my head but im getting back to it now and want to make a better off roader than the one i sold.
This is very inspiring for me so WHAT is the UPDATE WHERE ARE WE now.
Dont tell me your in russia
boss:
well if russia is still going to happen i got to get a shuffle on becasue im running out of time :?
there was a JD2 waiting for me but i cancelled that order as i went over there last saturday to do some tidying and a little welding and remembered how irritating my welder can be. so im looking at welders again.
apart from that i havnt really done too much to it. cant make my mind up if i should just go back to the standard landrover controle arms or to carry on with the alternate link idea. if i did stick with the landrover stuff it would cut a hell of a lot of time off. but i may have castor issues with the front :-.
there may be something coming in the post soon aswell :D
we shall see
