mate, i have a filing cabenet full of excuses as to why im not done. :lol:

the dilleo was i was going to wait for a new shiney spidertrax-esq axle casing and obviously i diddnt want to start welding tabs onto axle casings that i wasnt going to use.......BUT ive been waiting patiently and  nothings happening, no phone calls, no email, nothing. so im going to weld standard LR bracketry to the MOG axle tubes, then when the A.R.T. axles become avalable ill switch over to 3 link with them. theni have some axle tubes to sell on pre converted for landrovers.

the main reason for me wanting these axle casings is that there probibly about 10KG lighter, each. could probibly gain an extra 3" diff clearance too becasue the mog axles have HUGE diffs! still calling around for brakes, the guy who is making the axle tubes is also making disk conversions which again will be very very nice but there not done yet :(
 
i will be taking the transit truck over to my work shop next week as i have "aquired" about 20 sq ft of 5mm thick black plastic so i can start on door cards and wheel arches :D and might be bringing the mog axle casings home to fab up the tabs......although YRM have started making weld on brackets......but am i prepared to spend £50 per axle on bracketry that looks like a pigion has [!Expletive Deleted!] on it? :lol:


im not keeping you guys in the dark and im not moving the build to another forum, this build was here from day1 and its not going to end its just literally nothing has happend.
