Discovery Diff Gaurd Mounting bolts

Dare i ask 'what' wedge shaped spacer.... my QT gaurds didn;t come with any spacers....

 :DI think I picked  the right one if they supply the necessary bolts. Maybe the wedge is for the prop with the rubber coupling,donut,  not fitted to mine. As for tank guard, I hope I don't need to go as far as that. My next up armour will be steering perhaps. :-k

the spacer's for 300Tdi's with the rubber donut (think you can get away without it for the 200Tdi - as its got a 4-bolt output flange from the rear diff)


with a pic being worth a 1,000 words, I hope these help ..........

I found I needed to put a couple of flat washers on the rear diff housing bolts between the diff and guard to space it out a little bit or it wouldn't sit right. I also developed an oil leak from the top  of the diff houssing after fitting the QT guard, using the washers cured it.
