Probably the best all round engine for road use on the series. Problem is just like the the Transit they are not the best for using in the sticky stuff and water.

i have had no probs with it although i havent been serious off roading but its been fine for what i have done any ideas what she may be worth i know that id never get my blood sweat and tears back but she has been stripped down to chassis all repaired and built back up resprayed and wax oiled just thinking a car maybe better in this cold weather maybe i am getting old lol

I have a 2a on parabollox with rangerover axles and disco 200.Im getting 40mpg with sensible driving and ive dragged my sanky at 100mph with a fair bit more with out it, but im on my 6 th gearbox in 3 years and 2 nd overdrive,but its a gud set up.
