MOT fixed penalty

Just a warning to all my MOT ran out 3 Days ago,
I was just on my way back from watching the new bond film an blue light started flashing behind me.....
I pulled over the copper said my mot hav ran out. i thought it ran out on the 24th of nov but it ran out on the 24 oct  :( :(
So got a fixted penalty of £60  :'( :'(
Wishing i didn't bother to go and see the film now as it was boaring  :'(

Oh that's harsh, but sadly you can see where he's coming from, no MOT not insurance etc etc.

Have you ended up with points aswell?

Not sure on pricing but seems cheaper than a £60 fine :)

My first year of driving I thought my mot ran out at the end of a month and found it was the beginning.  :shock: Thankfully it sailed through the mot and all was ok. I now highlight my mot and insurance dates in my diary so I cant forget!
