making a safari snorkel air tight

right ive sealed up the end of the air box and around the join were the snorkel connects to the air box with silicone sealent what else do i need to do? the floods are coming and im going for the 4ft marker on my local ford! :twisted:

have you sealed up the holes in the bottom of the airbox?

If you want to make it air tight, simply seal up every hole, including the top... however, i suspect you meant water tight, in which don;t do the big one at the top...LOL

as said above but,

breathers,are they longer,tank one to,its ok having a snorkel but you could get water in the tank,axels and so on

huumm ent done the ones on the bottom of the air box oops! yeah breather kit needed asap aswell!
