Wacky Idea using ABS.... :)

hi skibum,

I wasn't thinking of replicating a fully automated system like the factory fit system. More of a manual per wheel braking system.

Obviously i would be providing a way of totally isolating the mods and only activating them under the bonnet when off road.

Does anyone know the pinouts of the abs modulator?

Um, it's what happens on a D2, so not really unknown for a Disco . . . . . .

I suspect you might need to fit stronger diffs as part of the trickery, as, if you're aiming to basically lock up a wheel if it's spinning, then all the torque will go through the planets gears in the diff, and the standard ones will last........ well, not long...LOL

At one point tree sliders and detachable towbars were unknown ground, someone has to be the first to try it.  :D
