Has it ever given you any problems off road? If not, I'd leave it on. No need to modify unless it addresses a genuine problem.

Ive cut the arbs off all the discos ive offroaded, never had any issues, cut many off customers motors, if you expect a disco to handle like a MK2 escort them my guess would be sell it and buy one  :afro:
