navara tyres

Hi, friend of mine has a navara with 255,s fitted, these are what it came with, can he fit a bigger/wider size and what would you recommend :-k also which would be the better make for towing with one of these

any suggestions welcome as i,m a green oval man and know little of navaras

I run a Navara D40 and have BFG A/Ts 265/70/17's and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - best money I've spent on the truck! Clearance isn't a problem at all either. If it's a D22 Navara I believe BFGs are also a good option but I'm unsure on sizes.
