Bolts

LittlePaul:
Not specifically a Disco question, but...
Need to bolt on a steering guard.  One of the bolts is replacing one we drilled out which fixes to the axle point, the other three were empty and just go into the chassis.

It's all M12, but do I need any specific bolts?  Or just steel M12 hex head bolts?
e.g. http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/browse.jsp?N=500005+1000536&Ntk=gensearch_001&Ntt=m12&Ntx=

Thanks, Paul

Budgie:
A photo of the actual location would be handy but if it holds any of the axle parts to the chassis then I would be looking for a High Tensile bolt to go in there, just to be on the safe side.  ;)

Cool thanks.  High tensile bolts don't seem to come up on regular bolt searches on screwfix etc.  Will measure up and get some of those to be safe then.  I'll get a pic as well, but it'll take the weight of the truck if it hits it, so will need pretty strong bolts.

Thanks again :)

Disco Matt:
If it's the bolt on the driver's side that secures the part attached to the steering box then yes, it needs to be high tensile.

The one that's a pain in the a to remove? :)
