Bishops Finger:
Good luck...Let us know the result..

bunnykins:
i had a similar problem -  mine was the keyforb and the alarm playing up.

you need to disconnect the battery and leave for at least 20 mins before reconnecting
to reset the alarm. check the alarm light on the dash - it should go off.

it could also be a short curcuit somewhere.

neal:
OK I attempted the 5 minute disconnect and still same problem. Just read the instructions re pressing the remote six times after replacing a remotes battery still same problem though. Now I`ve just disconnected the battery and type this whilst waiting the twenty mins. Thanks.  :?

neal:
Failed  :(

bunnykins:
if you bought it from a dealer, take it back for them to sort out a.s.a.p.

perhaps take it to jeep and see if they can find an error code [ do a search ]
not sure how to but have read somewhere that if you follow a sequence with
your key fob it will display the error code on your dash unit [ where the clock is ]
jeep may want to replace the alarm module - unit that controls all the keyfob
functions.

or take it to a specialist alarm fitter for advice.

it may be something simple but until you find out what it is, its hard to
pinpoint the prob.
