turbonutter:
looking at trimming the arches on my missis new rrc
just bought it and took it for test drive off road and its catching on the arches , its fitted with 265,75,16 insa dakars
its got a small lift but we have 2" spring spacers to fit so shouldnt be as bad but want to trim the arches as well , want to keep its as cheep as poss so may not fit extended arches but still want it to look good
what have u lot done ?
pics please

Some info here and pics here
bullfrog:
No pics but if you just trim the lip off (about an 1") Looks ok if you leave the flange part !
I did it on a 3 door and used edgeing strip .
turbonutter:
iv lifted it now , with the 2" spacers its sat it far enough from the arches not to catch
think ill see how it does at the weekend off roading be4 i do any arch cutting , i shall keep a eye out for sum cheep extended arches i think , i can then cut the arches right back
bullfrog:
What size tyres has it got then ?
Always best to test in real world sittuation befor cutting
