Hello from Cambridgeshire
« on: September 30, 2008, 12:55:18 »
<tap, tap> Is this thing on?

Hello everybody!

After having a lot of fun at the Abingdon Festival at the weekend, it was suggested that I join Mud Club. So I have  :D

I've got a 2005 Land Rover Freelander Td4 that I bought earlier this year, and it is completely standard except for a set of steel wheels shod with AT tyres (General AT²s).

The rest of my muddy fleet comprises of two KTM motorbikes: a 990 Adventure and a 250 EXC Racing.

In fact all three are currently hiding under large quantities of Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire respectively because I'm a bit lazy and haven't gotten around to cleaning any of them yet.

If any of you who were at Abingdon on Saturday and saw a Freelander on the course, that would be me - I was the only one on Saturday (although there were more on Sunday - inspired by my efforts perhaps...?  8-[)

So that's about it about me and my fleet :)

Hi welcome to the mad house. I wasn't at Abingdon but I am local to you I'll keep an eye out for you.
I'll be the idiot waving at you from the dirty green Defender 110 with tinted windows and the numberplate that ends in MUD

Thank you for your greetings. Here's what my Freebie looked like after a few circuits at Abingdon:

I'll keep my eyes peeled for others around the place :)

I've been 'Gordo' since my first year at uni. Coined by someone I worked with in the bar, it stuck.

Ironically it's the Spanish / Portuguese word for "fat".  :-o
