Paint shop .....HELP!!!!!!!

I have just got a copy of paint shop pro 9

It may as well be crayola crayons as i am useless

How do you put over the top of a pic....IE

I have a pic of my rangie and want to [play with colours and zebra/leopard prints and so on

Saw on here once someone put Simpson's on vehicle and it only puts it on body work and Miss's out windows etc

How do you do this please

If it's anything like Adobe Photoshop.........

You need two layers. Put the pattern at the back and the Rangie at the front. Delete the doors, etc and the pattern shows through. Is there a maic wand tool to delete large chunks of the doors in one go?
