How do chaps.
Was put onto this forum by a mate of mine, Ringo who has posted on here a bit. Great site and i love the laneing section.
I drive a VW T25 Syncro Doka (double cabpick up) its a 2.1 petrol 112bhp number. It was imported from Sweden a couple of years ago and used by a forestry fella way up the north. It has a few interesting additions fitted from new, petrol wabasto coolant heater on a timer, heated seats, mains engine warmer etc as you would expect from a truck used this far north. Its 20 years old now and the bloke i bought it off threw a load of dosh at it so it should be good for a while now.
A couple of mates who live local to me have the camper version and we get together and do the odd lane once in a while round Dorking.
I also use the truck as my work vehicle as i am a plasterer so it is used most days for work www.freewebs.com/plastercoatings
as well as the odd weekend away,
http://www.freewebs.com/ababyonboard2008/muckywheels.htm
and the odd VW Syncro off road weekend, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogH05zkg1mM
Looking forward to doing more off road stuff and have quite a few plans and trips to do with the Syncro and could even be up for a laneing meet if one happens not to far away.
